According to online reports, Google Play Store for Android has made an appearance and will include the ability to save games in the cloud as well as multiplayer and leaderboard functionality. As other mobile OS offerings such as Windows Phone and iOS already provide said capabilities, it was only a matter of time that Android would catch up.
Expected to debut at Google I/O, Google Play Store also allows game developers the ability to create achievements similar to the ones offered on Xbox Live. Gamers are also provided the functionality to schedule games and import those dates into Google Calendar ensuring their next matchup is never missed.
