Microsoft has announced at Computex that 7 or 8-inch displayed Windows 8 tablets will include a free copy of Microsoft Office 2013. Tami Reller, Microsoft’s Windows CFO, noted plans are in place to bundle Office Home and Student 2013 with said Windows hardware, providing consumers Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote. Also, included will be the new Outlook RT.
Outlook RT, to be made available on Windows RT tablets via the Windows 8.1 update, will provide familiar features and tools as provided on Outlook 2013 and will be included as part of the Office 2013 RT suite.
