Parents Receive Compensation Over In-App iOS Purchases

CNET is reporting that Apple has been contacting the 23 million parents involved in the long-running class action lawsuit over children initiated in-app purchases.  Individual claims for compensation can now be sent to Cupertino as per the terms of the original settlement back in February.  Transactions below $30 will qualify for a $5 iTunes voucher.  Larger reported charges may be fully refunded in cash so long as the purchases were made within 45 days of each other during the time where there were no repeat password requests or disclaimers.
