Android’s most recent build is finally being utilized by the majority of Android users. Android 4.1 bas been available for over a year and is the most up-to-date build of Google’s mobile OS. Yet the greater majority of those accessing the Play Store up till recently were using Gingerbread (2.3.x). Google has now stated on it’s official Developers Dashboard that Jelly Bean now represents 37.9 percent of Play Store users. Gingerbread is now second with 34.1 percent, while Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.x) remains unchanged in third place with 23.3 percent share.
